The JRSET College of Pharmacy has been developed under the auspices of the JRS Educational Trust, a non-profit organization with a vision of spreading quality education to all sections of society, particularly in the peri-urban areas of Chakdaha.

The profession of Pharmacy has undergone an ocean of change and from production, quality control and marketing, the Pharmacist today works as a Health Care Professional, involved in the safe and efficacious utilization of drugs and pharmaceuticals, and also in the discovery and development of newer medicines for the future.

JRSET College of Pharmacy offers a two year D.Pharm course .The institute is affiliated to West Bengal State Council for Technical Education (WBSCTE) for the Diploma course and PCI (Proposed-applied)) the curriculum is in strict accordance with the guidelines set down by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
